Here are some of the questions a third grade class asked me while I explained to them how we celebrate Christmas in the US:

Third grader: How can Santa get into my house if I have no chimney?

Third grader: How does the Santa get chosen?

Third grader: Why are Santa’s clothes red? (I really didn’t know how to answer that one).

Third grader: Why is Santa from New Zealand?

Third grader: Why do the elves do all the work?

Third grader: Is it true that there is an evil Santa who lives in the South Pole and who is called “Black Santa”?
